A division bench comprising Justice R Subhash Reddy and Justice A
Shankara Narayana on
Thursday accorded permission to UPSC to declare the
results of the interviews held for conferment of IAS.
Dealing
with a batch of writ petitions filed by several aspirants, the bench
modified an earlier order passed by a vacation bench that restrained
UPSC from declaring the results. Justice Subhash Reddy said that the
selection process could go on and the candidates selected could be
notified as per schedule, but the final results would be subject to the
outcome of the writ petitions.
