The district administration has invited applications for admissions to pre-examination coaching classes from candidates who have applied for Civil Services examinations conducted by the UPSC.
A release from IAS Coaching Institute said that an entrance test would be conducted on November 22 for admitting students to coaching classes.
Prescribed applications can be had from the office of the District Backward Class and Minority Welfare Officer from September 7 and the last date for submission of filled in applications is October 6.
Aspiring candidates should have finished minimum degree in any subject. Maximum age limit for OBCs is 32, for SC, ST and Arunthathiars’ a relaxation of 5 years is allowed.
Three years age relaxation is given for candidates belonging to backward class, backward class Muslim and MBC and 10 years for the differently-abled.
Candidates should attach documents of proof of education, age, community and residence along with the application, a release said.
