Each year more than 4.5 lakh appear for the civil services preliminary examination, out of which only 12000 write mains , only top 2500 appear for the interview and only a few top 1000 ones make up to the finals out of which with the top 150 get IAS.
Aspirants simply want to become an IAS officer without developing the qualities required to be one. Do we have those qualities in us? Why worthy Aspirants fail repeatedly year after year ?
There are only two reasons of Failure
1) First reason : Along with the hard work , scientific approach with very smart work apart from excellent writing skills are required to clear the coveted exam. Writing skill is the interface between your knowledge and the examiner. No matter how much you know , the Writing skill becomes the bottleneck . Think about it , did you write today ? . The Top reason worthy aspirants fail is LACK OF WRITING PRACTICE
2) Second reason : Aspirants do not follow a repetitive pattern of revision . What you read today will not help you 9 months down the line , until you revise regularly. People who leave the revision part for last 10-15 days , generally fail.
Aspirants who revise weekly [ or have exceptional memory top the exam]
For Example
1 Roman Saini
He has an exceptional brain and from his videos it appears he uses mnemonics technique to remember things .[ He has or developed exceptional memory capability , although he does not accept this publicly ]
What happened when a person with exceptional brain + exceptional memory attempts UPSC ?
