Tina Dabi, a pass-out from Lady Shri Ram College, has scored the first rank in the highly-prestigious examination and has chosen to serve the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in Haryana cadre.
Her dream chase beging from clas XI when on the advise of her mother she opted for humanities going against popular perception towards engineering and medical field.Even though both her parents are OFFICERS of Indian Engineering Services (Her mother took voluntary retirement ) yet they did not want there daughter to follow their footsteps.This result is also an eye opener for all the parents who pressurize their child to opt for science stream even if they are not good in those.This ultimately make them a mediocre student who struggle to meet the parents expectations but could not achieve what they actually want.Tina not only opted for humanities as she was good in it ,she went on to score a perfect 100 in Political Science in her CBSE clase XII examination.She also topped her University exam.Rest is all history.
She took coaching after graduation ,planned well and kept her focus strong throughout the year.Most of us fail , not because we are less intelligent but less focused and lack discipline.This result has come at the right time.Those who are going to appear this year or next year stay focused,follow the routine you have made and you may be the next topper.
