ith growing number of coronavirus cases in India, several board and recruitment examinations have been postponed till further notice. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 24 announced a complete lockdown across India. A lockdown in most of the country was already in place till March 31, and Modi's announcement extended it everywhere and for two more weeks after this month.
In view of the novel coronavirus outbreak, the state education boards like CBSE, ICSE, BSE Telagnana and others have postponed the board exam 2020 for an indefinite period. According to reports, the new board exam dates will be announced after April 14.
Meanwhile, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the NDA and NA (I) Exam 2020 and Civil Services Personality Exam 2019. The decision has been taken in view of safety and security of candidates.

NEET 2020 examination:
In view of the hardships faced by the parents and the students due to Covid-19 epidemic, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the ensuing NEET 2020 examination. The Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted on Thursday that the national medical entrance exam NEET has been postponed.
The new NEET 2020 exam dates will be announced later on after assessing the situation. All the NEET 2020 candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting ntaneet.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in for latest updates.
JEE Main 2020 postponed:
The NTA has also postponed the JEE (Main) April 2020 examination which was scheduled to be held on April 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th. The new dates of JEE (Main) examinations will be announced soon.

UPSC Civil Services Personality Exam 2020:
The UPSC Civil Services Personality Exam 2019 has been postponed by the Union Public Service Commission due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The new dates for the personality tests have not been released as of now but it is expected to be out at the earliest.
Earlier the UPSC Civil Services personality test was about to be conducted from March 23 to April 3, 2020.
UPSC NDA, NA Exam 2020 deferred:
The commission has also postponed the conduct of the UPSC NDA and NA (I) Exam 2020 which was to be held on April 19mdue to the nationwide covid-19 lockdown. All the candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website of UPSC for update on new exam dates or admit card released.
AP SSC Board Exam 2020 postponed:
The Andhra Pradesh Class 10 or AP SSC exams have been postponed. The AP SSC Board Exams were scheduled to be held from March 31, 2020, to April 8, 2020. The state education minister Adimulapu Suresh informed that the exams have been postponed for at least two weeks and will now be held only after 15th April 2020.
Class 12 Meghalaya board exams postponed:
The ongoing Meghalaya class 12 board exam 2020 have been postponed for an indefinite period as a precautionary measure in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The state government has directed the Meghalaya Board of School Education to postpone remaining examinations until further notice, the official said.
Telangana SSC Exams 2020 postponed:
Telangana Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has also postponed the SSC Class 10 examinations, which were scheduled to be held from March 31, 2020. The decision of the lockdown was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 24, 2020.
ICAI CA May exam 2020 postponed
The Institute of chartered accountants of India, ICAI has postponed the CA exam which was scheduled to be held from May 2 to May 18. As per the official notice, the exams will now be held from June 19 to July 4.

LIC AAO, AE, AA Prelims Exam 2020 postponed:
The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has postponed the preliminary examination for recruitment of Assistant Engineers - Civil/Electrical/Structural/ MEP and Assistant Architects and Recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officers (Specialist) scheduled to be held on April 4.
The LIC Recruitment Exam 2020 has been deferred till further instructions.
Gujarat Technological University postpones all summer exams:
All the summer exams in Gujrat have been postponed by the Gujarat Technological University for an indefinite period of time due to lockdown. The university has also announced on the official website that the campus will be closed on March 24, and 25, 2020.
Coronavirus outbreak: TBSE Board Exam 2020 postponed
The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has postponed the TBSE Board Exam 2020. As per reported, all exams that were scheduled between March 23 to March 31 have been cancelled due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak in the country.
